Orgyen Khamdroling Canada presents its second annual
Authentic Tibetan Dinner & Cultural Evening of Music and Dance
Come and enjoy an evening of great food, Tibetan song and dance and help a child attend school in Amdo, Tibet.
With their limited resources, most families in rural Tibet send only their sons to school. Money raised at this event will sponsor a girl's literacy clinic in Amdo, Tibet (Anyen Rinpoche's birth place) for 100 days each winter, when the snow is high and there is little work for the girls to do. Educating women will ensure that the next generation of Tibetans is literate and knowledgeable about their own culture and traditions and able to participate in the modern China. Money raised at this even will also go towards sending children to study at a bilingual boarding school where they will learn both Tibetan and Chinese languages.

Cost: $80
A portion of this amount is tax deductible and all proceeds will be used towards tuition and education for Nomadic children in Amdo, Tibet.
